Level 2 Ultrasonic Technician

Location: Milledgeville, Georgia

Triumph Aerostructures - Vought Aircraft Division in Milledgeville, Georgia is seeking a Level 2 Ultrasonic Technician. This is a permanent opportunity. 3rd shift.

Overview:
Perform ultrasonic testing on composite details and assemblies using automated equipment or flaw detectors. Evaluate results to Engineering specifications. Document nonconformances in electronic nonconforming system.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for:
Following documented technique sheets
Set up of test equipment
Performing ultrasonic tests
Evaluation of test results
Documentation of test results
Maintaining clean work area
Adherence to company safety policy

Qualifications:
-HS diploma or GED equivalent and Current Level 2 Ultrasonic certification or work experience as a Level 2 Ultrasonic techician.
-3 years minimum experience in the use of ultrasonic equipment.
-Prefer experience with composites and aircraft manufacturing
