Sr. NDT Technician - Level II in UT, MT & PT

Here's the job description:
Title: Sr. NDT Technician
Location: Vernon, CA
Pay: Depends on Experience
Length: Full-time, Permanent Placement

Job Overview:
• Sets up and operates equipment to inspect parts, materials and assemblies to determine the existence of discontinuities.

Responsibilities:
• 20% - Interprets NDT discontinuities to determine location of subsurface and surface defects, such as inclusions, cracks, porosity, etc.
• 5% - Marks defective areas on the inspection record and rejected material
• 45% - Performs inspection operations in accordance with Quality Control Standards, written specifications or verbal instructions
• 15% - Participates as required in product/process auditing through hardware/data verification and Statistical Process Control (SPC) verification activities
• 15% - Completes all related documentation

Qualifications:
• High school graduate or equivalent and two years experience in applicable NDT disciplines.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and NDT Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of theory, methods and procedures for qualifying NDT disciplines.
• Must have prior Level II certification in Ultrasonic Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection
and Penetrant Inspection.
• LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
• Aerospace experience required
• Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or other status as a U.S. Person.
